Chris is a long time participant in the real estate and finance industry. After receiving his BS Economics from Clemson University in 1979 he joined Wachovia Bank financing large commercial real estate projects throughout the Mid Atlantic and Southeast. He furthered his education by completing the Young Executive Program at UNC Chapel Hill with additional training at the Duke Fuqua School and also obtaining Series 7, Series 63 and NC real estate brokers license. He opened Wells Fargo's Middle Market Commercial Real Estate Group in NC and SC and continued for 7 years before deciding to develop apartments and condominiums for his personal portfolio. Over the next 8 years Chris (in various partnerships) developed real estate valued at over $100,000,000. He retired in 2022 in order to spend time with his wife of 41 years, 3 children and 6 grandchildren. He currently resides on Lake Keowee where he enjoys golf, hiking and, of course, the lake. Chris is active in his church, Lakes and Bridges School Board and FCA.
